I do, but I fully intend to get them wet this summer. What kind are you looking for? Sit-on or sit-in? I have a buddy who always seems to have extras.

I don't know, but I think we could sell tickets to see Allan in a kayak...

I don't have an extra but am a avid paddler. Mainly SOT kayak fishing. If your in the market, I can help you. Craigslist has some good deals.

Lol

I'm more interested in the SOT version. I don't think I'd be very comfortable in a legs in version. When fishing I'd like to be able to dangle my footsies in the drink.

Costcos has a large two seater that looks promising for four bills. Not sure if that's a sweet deal or pretty much the standard in kayaks.

It's either a two seater or two boats as Gloria likes to fish as well. I haven't even looked into Craigslist yet. I'm still toying with the idea.

JT, as usual you think too small. I wouldn't run out your bait, I'd use you as bait. Catch me a big fish or a small shark. :)

I've also been looking for/researching for a kayak to buy, it seems like they are similar to our reef light fixture in the fact that you can buy one cheap now and then upgrade later or save up and get one that fits your style. Average price for a "FISHERMENS" kayak is about $700.00

I have 2 sit ins. I like them, but I don't use them as much as I would like. I think they are the funnest when you can get in upstream and get picked up downstream. Actually kayaking a few miles is a lot of fun. You can fish along the way. There is a launching spot just north of 281 on the Guad, then you can have the Guad Canoe Livery pick you up a few miles downstream, or you can run a truck down there before launching. I hope the water levels have risen, it got so low last year we couldn't even use the kayaks anymore, had to resort to boating in Canyon. A drag, I know ;)
