Well as i woke up to get ready for school this morning i noticed my anemone was stuck in my koralia but as i tried to pull hime out he was stuck and would try when i got home. Well as i got home I noticed all my fish looked unhealty and were kind of struggling for air well they looked really sick and my yellow tang was lying on the sand bed i pulled all the fish out and my diamond goby was sufficated to death and my cleaner wrasse aswell looked the same but was still alive well i moved everything back into my 20 gallon including my corals. Can anyone tell me what do you think happend anyone please help!!

Run carbon- the nem released toxins more than likely.

Sucks... But it happens. We always keep backup salt on hand, just in case. Where in SA do you guys live?

Ditto, May be too late but I have 40gal of RO in my emergencytank and a bag of salt if you are on the west side. Guess I'm offering up Mike’struck :)
Lesson learned the hard way. Power heads and anemones don't mix. A stressed ordying anemone can/will nuke any tank and should be removed immediately.
Thanks for posting. Sorry for your loss. But your loss has educated many. Letme know when you get the tank back together. I have a pair of breeding MollMillers that I got from port-a last year that you can have. They are realcharacters. If you ever decide to get another anemone and must have a powerhead, show us a pic of the tank so we can advise on placement to minimize risk.

This is the only time I wished I lived in SA cause I would try my best to help you out with what ever you needed. I know that the guys there will help you though their great. Sure sounds like that Nem is what did it. I know how you feel with losing fish I lost around $500.00+ worth in a short time! Sorry to hear of your loss, hang in there!

The day I put a nem in my tank I removed my koralia. Exposed prop powerheads definitely don't mix with nems. Even regular powerheads need some kind of guard, either an intake grate or a prefilter sponge.
Some experiences can be much more frustrating than others, but it all happens for a reason and we all become wiser because of it. Keep your head up.

Well, unlike a pump,
1) There were no promises - nor am I expecting promises - of a return. It was a donation to someone who deserves the help. Back in the stone age, when I was that young (and it wasn't illegal to work in a LFS like I did), this kind of help was MOST appreciated. He thanked me, and that's all I am expecting, and all I'll take. Besides, the salt was going to go bad, by the time I used the other 2 buckets before that one. I mean... I have an 8 gallon tank!
2) The pump was WAY different. It could have been used for a couple of weeks, and returned when they got theirs back. It's been 6-8 months, and not a word.
3) Karma is a female dog.
