I still can't figure out what skimmer I wanna use, The tank is 30-35g and will be mostly sps. The main skimmers I'm looking at are the bubble magus nac 3 or 3.5. I'm looking for any other good options or opinions between the two I listed.

there isn't that many choices on small skimmers out there. I think you will be happy with either one of those.

Did you make a decision yet? I'm curious about your results. I have a Bubble Magus 3.5 that I'm currently using for my 35 gallon that is doing VERY well. I'm actually going to be selling it in the next week or two because I'm moving things into a 250 gallon tank and getting a much larger skimmer.
The footprint and effectiveness of this thing have been great.

You're definitely limited in that size range. NAC's, Tunze 9002 (POS in my opinion), SC65 (NAC clone), Aquaticlife 115 (POS), or a HOB.

I use the bm nac 3+ on a 80 gal system and it works awesome. I'm not really big on skimming since I have a light bio load and a bunch of coral. This is why I went with this skimmer and it doesnt run 24/7 either. I think you will be fine with the 3+ on your system
