Best Saturday in a long time!

I have been wanting to change up the 150g tank for a long time now, but just looking at those huge rocks covered in SPS was overwhelming. Not to mention my lighting is well over a year old and needed to be replaced.

Thank goodness for fishy friends! Mike and Kristy made a very difficult job fun and easy!

I still need to get the rest of my corals and gorgs from the 40 into the tank, but the hard part is over (I think).

What lights did you get/replace?

No pics yet, need to get er done first. I replaced the 250MH bulbs I've had sitting here for a long time and also the 4' actinics I got at the gift exchange christmas party from Karin. The fixture these are in is HEAVY because the ballasts are in the unit and I have to take my canopy off to do it.


It's going to be strange to see ricordia and gorgs in this tank. Hopefully my anems will bounce back too. They didn't like the 40g at all.

You're right Alton, I think I overheard her at the frag swap saying she was "fixin' to" go home. Next thing you know, she's going to buy a '65 Chevy Truck and ride around with a big Texas flag on the back.
