I have kinda a newbie question. I tore down a 90G cube with 100lbs of Live rock with a TON of hair algae. I also have 65lbs of dry rock that has been sitting in my garage for about a year. I will be setting up a 65 rimless and have a question on what rock to use.

What would be the better path to take? Cure the algae filled rock or start over and cure the dry rock. Or I guess the real question is...do i fight the GHA on the live rock or fight the PO4 seeping from the dry rock?

Cure the algae filled rock with all the life in it.

You can treat the dry rock with LC to prevent PO4 issues down the line. I did with mine, although I don't have a PO4 meter so I have no idea what the levels are/were. If you use all the dry rock and seed it with the LR from your 90, it will take awhile longer to seed. I was just starting to go through the diatom stages of the cycle after 4 weeks in my 210.

Dry rock, and only dry rock. I'll never, ever, never put live rock into a tank. JMHO
