The 100g is a potable water storage tank 28" x 45" if I remember correctly, has a Mag 9.5 and all plumbing for recirculation or to pump through the hose adapter to the tank. $150 for everything.

Hey teeb, can you text me an image? That's quite a bit more than I wanted to spend, but the pumps are something that may twist my arm.

Sorry for the late reply. It's currently sitting in the back of my storage unit, so I can't really get pics. It looks like this:

Allen, are you toying with your idea of recycling salt water again?

I still think that's a good idea, but no not this time.
I want to turn one into a sump positioned in my closet which will be fed by a powerful pump/ max turn over. Plan on having nothing else in there except for chaeto.
The second container will be my saltwater mixing station.
So my water changes will be 50 gallons at a pop. Turn off the feed for the remote sump/chaeto tank... Route a fifteen foot hose to the latrine... Small pump at the end to assist in the water evac when gravity becomes an issue (18-20").
Then flip the switch to to the mixing station which will be higher than the remote fuge, empties into the chaeto tank (gravity), turn on the pump from the main system which will re-introduce the sump to the rest of the display.
It will also raise my sump/fuge volume to 160 gallons. If I had the room I'd use a 100 gallon tank...
So far my biggest concern is that I won't have the added benefit of siphoning detritus from the display when I do my weekly changes. However, if I do a traditional five gallon siphon from the display, I can easily flip the switch afterwards to manually bring my sump level up to where it belongs.
Right now I'm limited to doing 20-25 gallon waterchanges each week. I could do two, which would probably be better for the tank...
But I really don't like doing things.
