So I'm looking into purchasing a 75g RR. My choices are a standard 75g with a corner overflow and my second choice is a 75g Deep Blue Edge with a center mounted overflow. I don't care too much about price because this will be my 'last' tank. I keep reading reviews and still have not decided. I have the stand, I just need the tank. Thoughts???

Ooo, the Deep Blue Edge looks cool. I started with a standard 75g, it was fine, but is wasn't deep enough to give me room for both rockwork and real estate on the sand.

I like the DBE because of the clarity on the glass and the fact that it's rimless, but I am losing some real estate because of the depth on the overflow. I used to have a 65g RR with a center overflow so I already know how much space I am going to be losing. If I go that route then I can just attempt to create a two-island scape. If I go with the standard 75, that will give me a lot more room to aquascape, but I won't get the rimless look and clearer glass. Hmmmm....

Get what you want, otherwise you will always regret it!

What Alton said. In the grand scheme of things, it's trivial (the money).

I have a 65 and agree a lot of space is lost, and I missed that extra foot.
