startsmart and TLC..... Hoax or good stuff?

Does anyone have any answers for this stuff?
I've been trying to battle this green hair algae issue for a while.
started using Startsmart complete as i was told it was the for sure cure.... and now have masses of brown snot all over the substrate and rocks.
aaaaaaaaaaaaargh and still have the green stuff too.

I used "stop hair algae" with good success. picked it up at elegant reef. just make sure you keep flow to bare minimum in your tank as to not blow it off. for a couple hours

What a creative name, it'll take them right to the top of an internet search ;)


I used the freshwater TLC, it didn't strike me as a miracle worker. The tank cycled fast, but not instant like the marketing implied.

the way i saw it was how live or helpful could be it sits on a shelf so what make it good you know ?


i feel the same about "live sand " in a bag how live do u really think it is
