PMs not working

I've been trying in vain to PM a member for a couple of days and nothing appears to be getting though. Please could someone look into it for me? I have a msg sitting in my "message tracking" folder which says it's "Unread," but the user I've written to says he hasn't received anything. :(

Ok I double checked your account and all your permissions are where they are supposed to be. Let's double check that your PMs are turned on in your profile.
On the top right corner of your MAAST page, click on the link for "Settings;"
Then scroll down the left column of the page until you see the section: My Account
And select "General Settings" under that heading.
Scroll down mid-page to Private Messaging and make sure the button is selected to turn your PMs on.

Let us know if that fixes it!

Thanks for you help. I'm not sure what's up as all the right PM options appear to be toggled. I tried sending a msg to myself and that works.

Maybe the chap I'm trying to PM has the wrong settings? Would it warn me if something didn't get through to him?

Hmmm that could be it. I'll ask him, thanks! :) Odd that the forum wouldn't notify me if that is the case though. I added tracking to one PM and it just remains "Unread."
