First a little background. 92g corner tank, 20g sump, Reefkeeper Elite controller, Octo 150 skimmer, BRS 50ml doser for ATO, nexreef MR1 reactors for GFO and carbon (BRS rox8 and high cap GFO), 30+ sps frags, ~10 medium lps, ~100# LR, 2" sandbed, 20+ ricordea, ~dozen zoas, 120w LED + 250W MH., Hydor magnums on controller, 36w UV, blah blah blah....typical equipment.
I have been using 1.5 tsp of kalkwasser per gallon in my top off resevoir, and I use about 5 gallons per week.
pH=8.0-8.2, alk is around 8-8.5, phosphates~.08, Amm=0 nitrate=0 nitrite=0.....
Problem is I am having calcium stuck at ~400, and alk between 8-8.5 despite dosing kalk and despite dosing b-ionic a few times a week. I check alk and calc with hanna meters every other day. Do you all think I have enough demand where I need to go to dosing two-part to keep up with current demands? Up the kalk? What are your thoughts?
