Okay Maastards time to get your frags and any equipment you have lying around for our annual Spring frag swap. Charter/Web members can bring their propagated corals, fragged from their own tanks, to either trade or sale at this event. Tables will be provided, one table max per person. Please post in this thread if you will need table space. As always, entry is free for charter members and $5 for web members.


Sponsors of MAAST are invited to attend to sell their frags as well.


Food will be provided, BBQ of course, so bring an appetite as well.


In addition to our frag swap, we will have Tank of the Month and Tank of the Year presentations.


Also our very own Sherita Tabner (sherita) will present a fragging demonstration on how to frag different corals.


Please use this thread also to RSVP so we can get a head count for how much food.

Sherita is doing a demonstration on coral fragging and has graciously offered to let members use her band saw for fragging and practice. So if you want to frag a specimen that you have raised in your tank bring it with you.

Thanks MASST! Everyone made it worth the 3 hour trip I made. I picked up some really nice corals and a few other items at great prices. I can only hope our club (MYSCCT) can head in the direction your club seems to be.

WOW...been a member since 2003 and yesterday "to me" was one of our largest turnouts for a monthly meeting....it was great to see that MAAST has reached what it set out to do. Seeing "families" share in the love of our hobby was awesome. Thanks to all that attended and all those that worked so hard to make it happen. John...looking forward to some future BBQ...ha! Hope all went home with some awesome stuff :bigsmile:
