Well got the parents to say yes to building up my 55. I know you are saying his parents? Well just to let you know I am only 13. Well anyways got my parents to say yes i am going to be running a 350 magnum filter and a protein skimmer well still deciding whether to make a sump out of a 20 gallon just not sure how.I am not sure on lighting wanting to run vho t5's. Just posted on here to get any sugestions or anything else



A pair of Extreme Misbar Clownfish
about 7 Bangaii Cardinals
Cleaner Wrasse
Diamond Goby
And Lots and lots of softly dominated corals and a few hard corals

Cool dude.

I'd look for a sump were I you, rather than a canister filter. You could use a ten or twenty gallon tank, add a few baffles, to support a 55.

Nice to see an other tank go up..im setting up a 50 gallon cube right now my self..so keep with the post..i would like to see how things work out for ya.:shades:.any pics>?

i agree with allan jeremy, especially if you are doing a reef.

I setup my 29 with an emp 400 to start, soon after I was trying to figure out how to add a sump. Much better if you can make it happen so you can run a skimmer, macro, etc. I kept the emp 400 running along with the sump. If anything it will provide extra bio/mechanical and flow.

Well have an uncle who has a sump fully equipped with the Overflow and still not sure about the lighting?

A 20 gallon long makes an excellent sump. Good luck and let us know if we can help in any way.

quick update The tank was moved into the room this week and going to add some already cycled water
and to add a stock list

Just picked up a sump From KING today just added the pics
