They are so very very different as far as effort and rearing goes. clownfish would be much cheaper and easier to raise than seahorses

I havent had time to do my Maast research but word on the street from West Texas (where I come from) and Oklahoma (where I am right now doing some training) is that SA (where I now call home) has some very good Clown and Sea horse Breeders. I was thinking about making my next main tank a Planted Horse Ranch and also having a nano reef with a pair of exotic clowns. I would love to have captive bred, not to mention home grown livestock. How can I get my hands on these breeders?

My clowns spawn often. If you have a setup running, I'd be happy to donate eggs to you.

If you go with the seahorses a tall tank is better. I'm pretty sure theres a 30 gallon tall at phenomenal I had it for a while but got bored with them so I traded the tank and seahorses back for some fish and rock. I think it's 30$

Sorry, Jeremy, we are out of town on weekends. Just looked at them, and they are on the same piece of Tonga rock as one of my anemones. Let me see if I can either get the anemone to move, or we can try again in a couple of weeks when they lay again.
