are those blastos the wellsii or the merletti?

I'm afraid I don't know, nor do I know how to tell. They are large heads. We bought the colony from Rick over a year ago and it has since doubled in size.

those are B. welsii, the B. merletti are the small ones that are more circular in shape.

I thought I might post a pic of the Blastos from when I had them. They are super nice! Trust me! Who ever buys these is getting a very good deal. I've seen these go for $35 per large head. Oh and it really is that red! Its not that pinkish color its RED.
