cool project but that's a lot of tubing and equipment. I like my biopellets one pump and one outlet!!

...and 50 additives to put stuff back in the water? Ah, you know I'm kidding Chris.

I built one of these last year. Works great. I would recommend the pearl sulphur media if you can find/afford it. The caribsea sulphur chips clog way too easily.

If they're so easy to build why do they cost so much.

I only dose sea water complex 1ml per 25g and my coral look better than when I dosed red sea.... if you would swing by to talk reef you might learn something !!!

No comment Chris.

My thoughts exactly. The Korallin unit I have wasn't cheap. The construction, however, is top notch. All the fittings are Schedule 80 fittings, and the acrylic is very thick. Plus, there's an eheim pump. The sulphur pearl media is like almost $100 by itself.

I converted a next reef reactor, and used an old eheim pump I had laying around. Went ahead and used the caribsea sulphur chips. Including the reactor, pvc fittings, tubing, and sulphur, my conversion cost about $150, but the quality is no where near Korallin's.
