I found this guy crawling down my rock structure. Anyone know what it is? I definitely don't remember adding it.

Moonlights were on, so it came out really blue, it looks more translucent and brown.

Yeah, I probably should have. I have another pic I'll post later today. It's weird, whatever it is.

do you still have it? Put it in a container with an airline. It might be something cool!

I thought it was a nudibranch. That blow hole in the back makes it look like some kind of snail. Doesn't the sea hare have a blow hole?

It looks nice, but I would definitely remove it from your system. Isolated if possible, but if not...

It is some type of cowry snail. There are a couple different kinds but if I had to guess I would say its a "money cowry". They are great algae eaters! Probably hitched hicked in with some of your rockwork, a nice free addition!

It does not seem to have a shell so my guess would be some sort of nudibranch. I couldn't tell you what type because there are so many different variants out there. I would hate to say this but throw it out. OR maybe keep it to see what it does and if all seems cool then keep it.

some of the cowry and other snails have skin covering their shells so it might be hard to tell. I looked at chucks addiction and I thought it could match a calpurnus.

Don't toss him. The way their foot works is by wrapping up and around there shell, this is why it looks like it doesn't have one. I am 100% positive that it is a cowry. They are not harmful at all and will demolish any hair algae in your tank. Look up some pics on google and you will see what I'm talking about. I have had several in my tanks before.

It definitely has a shell. It has a really long trunk, much thicker than my nassarius.
