since becoming addicted to sps ive tried lots of stuff to feed. best expierence has been to make sure alk and cal are where they need to be. i use fuel and KZ zeo 7 food for amino acids(helps with growth), twice a week i use coral frenzy but will soon change up to reefroids(now that elegant carries it) for color i was using brightwells potassium and iodine, and then kent marines trace elements. the last month and a half i have stop dosing brightwell and kent and have been using KZ Sea Water Complex with no ill effect to color so far everything is happy. fuel is dosed twice a week same for zeo 7, sea water is dosed daily(1ml per 25G)

I feed twice a week my own mix of three or four different coral foods and additives, must be working, my sps grow like weeds... I usually feed around 10pm, my lights have been off a couple of hours, turn off the pumps and target feed, wait an hour, turn the pumps back off.. Keep the cyano under control w weekly water changes, cleaning of my protein skimmer and a BRS dual reactor running Rox and GFO....:) I also dose with a two part calcium twice weekly....:)

I feed this:

I also do live phyto and live zooplankton

I used to do frozen phyto and powdered foods but get cyano every time I do that. My gorgonians are very sensitive to cyano so I quit that stuff

yes, I have to anyway for the seahorse fry. when the babies aren't eating rotifers the tank gets it.
