I got myself oxydators from Germany for Christmas. Merry Christmas to me!
Only problem: the fuel. I needed 6% hydrogen peroxide and the walmart stuff is only 3%
So I asked my question on the seahorse site and got this cool info (I bet tons of seahorse people have a Sally's card in their wallet lol):
The Sally's Developer 20 vol is 6% peroxide, 30 vol is 9% and 40 vol is 12%. You can add the appropriate amounts of distilled water to get the percentage you need. You can buy that stuff by the gallon! And with your Sally's Frequent Buyer card it's relatively cheap too :)
There is a stabilizer in it: phosphoric acid that according the seahorse breeder is apparently not of concern but it stabilizes it by lowering the pH so don't pour tons of this into your tank! ;)
Anyway: I figured I'll share this little nugget in case you have been looking for stronger or cheaper peroxide.
