tap 226 tds
RO 162 tds
RODI 160

2-2.5 gallons of "good" water to 5 gallons of waste

pressure= it leaked when i first got it so i took it off

membrane is 3-4 months old
sediment and carbon filter were 3-4 months old before the test but put new ones in right before the test ran it for 10 mins with the flush deal

i would think there is about 150-200 gallons of water threw the DI

i know the DI is shot but it doesn't make sense since all of them were new a few months ago

when all the filters were new i installed the sediment / carbon first ran it for 15 mins then put the DI and Membrane in so no clue what i did wrong or if it was a defective membrane

check all your lines make sure your RO lines out the membrane are not backwards. also how old is your TDS meter, I check mine with calibration fluid every few months.

Based upon these numbers, your RO membrane is no working correctly. Your rejection rate is 29%, when it should be above 90%. With your RO water at 162 ppm TDS, you'll burn through a resin cartridge in about 30 gallons. Your RO water should be less than 22 if you have a 100 gpd membrane, and less than 10 if you have a 75 gpd.

Some things that could cause this:
-RO membrane not fully seated/pushed in all the way
-Internal crack in RO membrane housing
-VERY low pressure
-Bad RO membrane
-inaccurate TDS readings

2-2.5 gallons of "good" water to 5 gallons of waste So you have a ratio of 2:1, even with cold winter water temperatures. This is too low, and you'll almost certainly shorten the useful life of the membrane.

Should reinstall the gauge.

I was having similar problems over the summer. I took everything apart and cleaned the whole unit. I then reinstalled new filters throughout(plus added some features while I was at it) and so far so good.
