Hi guys and girls I'm new to the fish scene, So far i have a small 20 gallon I bought from a member on here. Its actually a step up from my 10 gallon I'm open to any input you guys may have as all my knowledge has came from my friend Ty, some guys at some of the fish stores around town and Google.I want to eventually step up to a 100g+ but i have tons of learning to do.

Welcome to MAAST. Were you with Ty the other day when he picked up that sump from me? If you have any specific questions, ask away.

Good deal. Using the 10g as a sump or a quarantine would work well. If you have any questions or want to swing by sometime, you know where I live and you're just right around the corner.

Welcome! Go for it! In my experience if you can successfully maintain a 10 or 20 gallon reef tank you will be perfectly fine with a 100g tank. The less the water the less it takes to crash it. If you have any questions just ask. Plently of saltys here to help ya!

agree with regric, the larger tanks are much easier to maintain than small ones. that being said i prefer small myself

Welcome to the hobby! I'm only 15(almost 16) and I've been in the saltwater fish/coral hobby for 2 years and I adore it! I have a 20 reef myself and it is a great first size aquarium, plus a 36 semi-aggressive FOWLR. Good luck to you, and like Rick said, plenty of maastards to help you out!
