I have never played with plexiglass before, so this was a first for me... I am learning my way with tools as well so everything is somewhat new to me.....But I wanted a frag stand and was planning on building one out of egg crate, but after giving it thought, egg crate looks cheap IMO.....
So I went out and picked up some plexiglass and this is what I made, its not perfect, there is a few flaws and the holes I'm going to drill a little bit bigger as soon as I find my bit....

Ya, not bad for my first try.... But I got a good size scratch on it... And the cut wasn't perfect... But oh well it will still work..

Just an FYI, you can use a hand held torch to take scratches out of acrylic as long as they are not horribly deep. Keep the torch moving, otherwise you get bubbles, and just work it back and forth over the scratch, pulling it away for a moment, then working back over it. As long as you don't hold it in one spot, or move real slow, those scratches just vanish. I had to do that when I scratched the front of my new frag display :(
