That is SPECTACULAR!

I have three of the mini-maxi's, I love them. No real special needs, mine tend to stay lower in my tank (actually, one of them hangs out on the bottom of my rocks). They don't seem to like/need to be blasted with a lot of light. I feed mine mysis shrimp when I feed the tank, they gobble it up. They haven't attempted to eat any of my tank inhabitants, but I suspect they could if it got close enough/was small enough. Mine haven't proven to be nearly as mobile as the GBTA that I just rehomed. Two of the three have not moved from where I put them, the other ran down the rock to the bottom, and seems to be quite happy there.

And the really nice thing.......they don't get huge. My smallest is the size of a silver dollar, my largest is a little bigger than a coke can.

I would snatch it up. My Maxi Minis are green with a dark purple in the middle and the other is green with bright pink in the middle. Now these are different than the mini carpets which will propagate on there own. The only way to get these to reproduce that I have heard of is to cut them but I would search it before I did it. These will get about 4-6" big. I think coral magazine had an article on them not too long ago if you have an iphone and their app I would recomend checking it out but like was suggested they are real hardy and easy to keep ime.

And you forgot to post where you found this at. :)

Lucky, the are quite capable of moving. If it has no rock when you get it, what you can do is shut your flow down, put it where you want it and give it about 15 minutes to attach. But be aware, if it doesn't like the neighborhood, it will move. Mine aren't real mobile, but the have walked around their rock on occasion.

I would get them both :)

I don't think you could go wrong with either one. But I would still get them both. The get along just fine, two of mine have snuggled up to each other and are bff's.

those have some great coloring...I like the first one, but like Sherita, I'd get them.

On the moving, like Sherita said Im sure they could but mine never have. I wish my first one would as no one can see it.

Did you happen to find that article on them? They are sold as S. Tapetum but that is actually the mini carpet anemone, these(maxi minis) are more closely related to the actual carpet anemone but they still haven't even been properly identified yet.

These and Tube anemones are by far my favorite after the Bubble Tips.

They are both really nice, but after countless seconds of thinking, i would cut both of them in half and let the two halves heal together! I've seen it done with a bleeding apple scolly and a warpaint scolly, so why not these? BUY THEM BOTH! the price might cost you but in the end they will be worth it, especially if you frag them. That way, you can sell them and still have them!

I received these maxi minis today... Now they r already attached to a rock... I put em on the sand bed next to some rock rubbles ... Since they already came attached to a rock will they still move????

they may but normally they won't go far unless the flow is too strong.
