I am on the prowl for a new tank....I was initially looking for a 125, but if I can find a deal on the likes of a 180, I would be okay with that too. Let me know what ya got in this range.

Nobody has a big tank they want to sell? I need a tank and you need Christmas money....show me the tank! I'm only interested in 180+ at this point.

I've already decided I want bigger. Go big or go home, so I might as well go as big as I can. I'm about to buy new as I'm getting impatient waiting out this used market...

Agreed, but I can get exactly what I want used as well. A new 180-210 runs $500-600 for the tank alone. Used, I should be able to pick up a tank, stand, and maybe some accessories for that price. I don't know what I am going to do, if I buy new a used tank will show up.

I have a 240 I'd be willing to part with.

Dang it, everybody has 240s and a 7' tank would be a stretch to fit in this spot where walking in my front door would be an issue, much less an 8 footer.

It's a full hardware setup minus lights and powerheads. All high end gear.

Just buy Josh's (Buck27) tank. He's done all the work for you. All you have to do is tear it down and put it back together. I've been working on my custom 40 breeder for about a year and barely put water in it a week ago. What a pain in the arse it is to be a perfectionist... :at_wits_end: But really, he's done all the work for you.

Yeah, but that's what I enjoy the most, the build. I have certain things I want to do so I decided I want to go new and do it exactly how I want.

Right On Man... Nothing like a custom tank build. It's frustrating and rewarding at the same time. I put about $4K into my 40 Breeder so far . I can only imagine what your "New Big Tank" will cost you . Good Luck and keep us posted.
