If anyone read my other post about not being very happy with my tank......one of the reasons may be the drab and dull colored Unicorn tang. Sherita, we talked about this some. So, I was thinking of swapping him out but had no idea how I was gonna catch him without tearing my tank apart! Then I remembered, he eats out of my hand.....I grabbed my net and a piece of Nori. I put the Nori on the top of the water to let him see it then put the net on the edge of the top of the water. He had no hesitation with the net being there and as aggressive eater as he is, so as soon as he took his 3rd bite or so, swung net down and caught him!!!! Now to see what tp swap him with. Btw, this had to have been the EASIEST fish I have ever caught. I know it was by luck....but still! I got a big cheese eatin grin on my face and looking at the tang thinking, "I won! I got you with my cat like reflexes!" lol

victory dance is right! Now to think of a replacement with a bit more color. Any suggestions? I really like Naso's and the Uni was why I didn't put one in. Not a LOT more color, but some flashes of orange and yellow and what not and still very personable. Any good ideas?

I have no idea, they just look awesome. I'd do some research before you jump out and buy one though, they're not cheap.

Hard to keep and a fierce attitude. How about a midas blenny? They get fairly big, bold yellow coloring, and stay in the middle zone (planktivore) instead of perching like most blennies

Justin, I didn't plan on getting an Achilles. They are really pretty, but I have bad luck when it comes to the expensive hard to keep fish. If it's REALLY cheap I usually do well lol The Midas Blenny is nice...won't it fight with my Starry though?

My starry and newly added midas dont fight at all. I also like sunburst anthias. Or there are some really colorful basslets as well.

I really like Anthias. My favorite are the Lyretail, Dispar, Ignitus, and Squareback. I read the write up on the Anthias from the newsletter a while ago and got scared to get them after reading about all the internal parasites and stuff they can come with. I've also had Lyretails before. I had a male and 2 females and the male really beat them up.

Sunburst anthias are my favorite anthias. I believe they are a little easier to keep, but don't quote me.

lol, they're only $70 a piece and how many is recommended to be kept together? Are they like the Lyretails where you need 4-5+ females for one male?
