Just got home from my first trip to Elegant Reef. I must say I was a little hesitant about driving all the way over there, seeing how I live in New Braunfels.

Well I got there and was pleasantly surprised how clean the store was. The entire set up of the tanks was neat, clean, and the fish selection was great too. Louis was awesome and was patient with me as I asked countless questions.

Price was great too...cheapest clean up crew I found (including online).

Just my two cents and thanks again for helping me Louis.

Hey Louis...the larger snails you sold me haven't moved since they were placed in the tank...the hermits are crawling all over them. Any advise?

Keep an eye on them and flip them over if they're on their back. If after a few days they still aren't active you can give them the smell test. If they smell they need to be removed. How many astrea did you get? Have any of them started moving?

Did you acclimate them? Just asking cause I learned the hard way with some shrimp the first time....
