The clownfish have been transferred to the 40g. No sump, just a marineland canister filter.

Such a simple system! And SO quiet!

55g tank is out the door. Down to 2 tanks. Husband is happy.

What no foam filter? Pictures? My wife sure was happy when I took the 100 gallon tub out of our living room this weekend also. Our spouses love us.

Ahhh come on, I was looking forward to pics!

To echo Alton....my wife was also happy this weekend when I tore down the 50gal tub I had setup as a holding tank...it was blocking the traffic from the kitchen to the dining room...well ok it's no longer a dining room, it's a fish room....and I chopped the 10' bushes down that were blocking light into the same room. :)

Argh you guys are making me all feel guilty. When my husband comes back from his trip he will notice I moved all plants out of the dining room so I could find space for my buckets with rotifers and there's now phyto bottles in the guest bathroom. The seahorse fry tank is still waiting to be set up. I'm not even sure yet where I'll have space for that. Will probably need to convert the breakfast nook to seahorse area...

So yes, where's the pictures?

Oh Karin, I feel for you. Better to do it all when he is gone though than to see him roll his eyes at you while you are doing it.

I'm so happy to have the breakfast nook area back. It's like a real house again.

No pics for now, but someday I'll have some.

The foam filter is part of the canister filter.

And it is also nice to have one less tank for the hubby to have to clean/feed, etc. since I can't do much of anything these days.

Hey, we are right there with you!! :) I am SO HAPPY to have three tanks again in our house, instead of this insane fish store meets home warehouse explosion that has been in our home for the past three weeks. On Friday we had two reef tanks, two holding tanks for our aggressive fish, two shrimp feeding tanks, one tub of circulating live rock, buckets of equipment everywhere, and one empty 140g brick that we'd been plumbing for the past two weeks!!! By Sunday we had three operational fish tanks and some extra live rock under powerheads. Pfffew! Monday we got all the equipment put away and today it even looks like a home again!

I'll bet that makes the fishies happy!
