Pick this little guy up from Louis the other day. Actually passed him up one day and went back for him the next. He was all in front of the tank, unlike all my other tangs which are very timid.. I put him in my sons aquapod, so he didnt get bullied in mine. I plan to keep him there a little longer till he gets a bit bigger, then transfer him over...

I am hoping the best for him and it seems the 2 pink skunks have already let him know whos boss. But he has really cleaned up my sons tank, he was having a feast with the little algae going on the rocks and glass.... And he eats like a champ.....
Eitherway, looking for advice on dealing with a fish so small......

Feed him variety as often as possible. Offer small strips of nori daily.
How did the panorama pros look?

^^ x2. Multiple feeding per day of nori, spectrum pellets (may take a bit of training), and herbivore blends of frozen and flake.

They looked good, brightened up some spots in the corners my current lighting was missing..... Going to take some pics soon.... Added a bit of shimmer, and certainly highlighted some corals....

Exactly what I am feeding and he eats it all but hasn't taken to the spectrum pellets yet. He gets spirulina brine, mysis, squid, plankton, rods herb blend, spectrum pellets, ocean nutrition reef flake n level 2, kelp flake, and i know I am missing another.... Haven't put any nori in there but going to today..... Figured I would let him munch on everything in the tank first, which he has done a get job with.....

How I've gotten tangs to accept spectrum is by feeding just a little bit of the regular food to kick in feeding mode and then throw in some spectrum. Keep rotating and it should start taking nibbles. Just be patient. It is a really great, balanced food for herbivores. The meats are fine, but veggies should make up the bulk of its diet. Especially when so young and more sensitive.

I tried for maybe a month to get a scopas to spectrum. Troy V recommended doing it that way and within a week it was pigging out on them. If the pellets are too big, they make a much finer blend that I haven't seen in stores. Might shoot hobogato a PM to see where he gets his.
