What is your one small fish? Is it a grazer or should it be fed more often? Don't want to starve the little guy...

We feed once a day frozen about 10pm, a little before lights out. Sometimes we feed the corals, but not often. A couple of the tanks have an auto feeder, so get fed more often. The main display with the anthias and tangs/angels get 3 auto feedings throughout the day and the fish only gets 1 additional.

I feed fish in the AM. Coral get fed 2-3 times per week in the evening which turns into feeding fish since they steal the food anyways.

I feed alot..... been trying to cut back though... even took off my autofeeder. Not that I was having issues but didnt want them to arise.

I now feed 2-3 times a day at random times... sometimes even once a day but I feel bad when I do... lol

In my sons tank the pink skunks just look at me every time i go in there.... and they look to be starving, i cant help it...

Flakes 1x per day for clowns. Seaweed for the Blenny 1x a week. Corals get fed 1-2x a week depending on how lazy I am. Target fed mysis occasionally, they seem to like that. Shrimp during all these feedings, especially the mysis.

Feed your critters! The ocean is full of food. They didn't ask do get fished out and spend the rest of their days on a diet.

I feed every other day 1x. My aunt never feeds her 75 gallon reef tank. She has 2 damsels and a scooter blenny. She has had them for a year and no issues. I don't know what the heck they eat but they sure are healthy. I know she has a really big population of pods.

I think that cold blooded animals can live (not thrive but live) for a very long time on less than adequate food.
Maybe my views are extreme but: if you choose to take responsibility for an animal then that responsibility includes providing adequate nourishment.
Adequate meaning thrive, not just survive.

I feed a strip of Nori every morning along with a cube of frozen. Then my tank mates get two cubes of frozen in the evening, and every other day I feed straight coral food along with regular feedings. Basically I feed heavy.

I vary on food, but always use mysis and spirulina for fish in conjunction with other types. Corals get various frozen food and phyto, chromo, and zoo plankton.

Ahh, okay... Lol yes they get a mixture from squid, bloodworms, mysis, brine, krill, pellets(not too often), red and green seaweed, algae n reef flakes. They seem happy and are very healthy, all of them.. I change my water every 2 weeks and sometimes a little in between but never longer than 2 weeks....

PE Mysis is more expensive but well worth it. The protein is a lot higher, plus the shrimp are much bigger than other brands.

I alternate between PE mysis, squid, clams on half shells, spectrum pellets, blood worms, and baby brine.

I dont give it all at once, its usually a mixture of 2 of those throughout the day. Like for breakfast it will be brine & bloodworms and lunch squid & mysis and so on....

I almost bought PE mysis the other day but went with rods food herbivore blend, have only fed it once and they seemed to like it, so its one more to mix in..

Another vote for PE mysis. We feed it daily in our mix of many other foods. Good nutrition and the fish love the big meaty size of it. Just be sure to rinse it well because it's pretty oily.
