reef octopus overflow box?

Im in the market for an overflow box that can handle about 1,000 gph pump.. I came across the reef octopus brand but wasnt sure on how well it worked. I'm used to the adjustable box withe the U pipe. This one seems simpler but im not sure. Is anyone using one of these or knows of someone?
