This is a group order, we will cover shipping expenses. PM me what you want or post here. This is a pre-order list shipped directly to us from Hawaii and all fish will arrive on Oct 5th in the AM. We will acclimate fish in holding containers, re-bag with new acclimated water and have them ready for pickup the same day at our local pickup from 8-9pm.

In the event of DOA, we will offer DOA refunds via store credit with picture.

Charter members take 10% off.

Tax will be added.

k, all fish are medium size. Obviously sizes will be different in inches depending on the species max size. If you need small or large fish we can do special requests but the smalls will cost the same as mediums and larges will cost more.

Black tang listed for $499 is large size. We can get sml and med for $475 upon special request.

Awesome, hey Rob the (QT) Holding Tanks your Goin to be Keeping them in prior to Pick Up Time, will they have any Type of Meds or Copper anything like that ? just curious

^no. For the MAAST crew since it's same day pickup, it's pretty much just an acclimation and re-bag (similar to what drop shippers do).

For the Austin crew we will be holding the fish until that Sunday so once the San Antonio fish are out I will be adding some rock from the existing tanks and macro as well as feeding. I'm not doing any type of meds or treatments though.

When I re-bag the fish they will be bagged in large bags along with fish calmer tablets which also release oxygen into the water. It also turns the water a little blue.

Ahhh well,,,, if you REALLY WANNA KNOW lol

i plan to Drip Acclimate for 45minutes pulling out aprrox 5gallons every 15min as well as Thinning out the 240 for awhile by housing the Smaller (hardy) Fish in the Sump untill the fish has adjusted i also Intend to Pull out (some) rock to provide Lots Of Swimming Space BUT also keeping Lots Of Hiding Places available.

Another tip i will be trying is taking out some small pieces of Live Rock and Crushing some Brine, Mysis and Blanched Lettuce and Filling the Cracks of the Rock with it, Then Freezing the Rock as FOOD, once the Fish is Acclinmated into the Display i will Introduce the Live Rock with its Food to Entice it to Eat as it would Graze in the Wild Naturally and hope for the Best lol thats about all i had in Mind

Ok, let's cancel the pickup for tonight, we will do it tomorrow from 7-8pm. The fish will be acclimated, re-packaged and oxygenated once off the freighter and then headed this way. Sorry for the delay. If anyone has pickup problems just PM me.

Hawaii peeps... we are canceling the pickup for today and moving it to tomorrow, but at my house. The shipment never went out yesterday. I'm having a very difficult time finding out why. They did confirm that it is now on the freighter and as soon as it arrives on the west coast, is acclimated, re-bagged, re-oxygenated and in flight I will have tracking information and will know when it should be in.

The pickup will be moved to my house for tomorrow (Friday). I will update when I know more via this thread and a PM to each of you. I'm sorry for the delays. This is our first Hawaiian order and I did not account for delays. If we were to do this again we would plan to have pickup a week out from the order so that our customers would not have to join in on the frustrations of shipping overseas. I should have known better. Sorry.

We will take care of each of you for the inconvenience... once we have shipment in hand and can confirm that the delays are over.

lol, you know that black tang is one of the reasons I'm so excited to be a part of this business. At times I miss the hobby part of having a display tank but having a business and being able to see all of these amazing fish, corals and inverts is just too darn cool. Even if they are only in my care for a moment.

I seriously get stoked everytime something new comes in as if it were my own. Sometimes I actually hope stuff doesn't sell, lol, just so I can enjoy it for a bit....don't tell Jack and Harish that though.

So I guess the business has become my "hobby".

OK, first, I'm very sorry. I'm getting the runaround and now you all are getting the runaround. If you have worked with me in the past you know I do not operate like this.

Apparently the wholesaler sent me tracking info for the invert coral order and not the fish. He said the fish will be here tomorrow now. The coral came in out of Cali and the Fish are coming from Hawaii. I'm having a very difficult time communicating with them due to language barriers. They are going on about delays and even stated that Hawaiian fish may no longer be collected from the wild for the aquarium trade..something about a vote next week, not sure how that applies to our order right now or how it justifies anything, but just passing the info.

I'm waiting on the awb right now and will post once I have it.

Again, I'm very sorry about this and in the future you will only order what we have in stock to prevent this from happening again.

I do not expect you to have your entire weekend revolved around this order...but if it comes in tomorrow I will be prepared to have pickups after 5pm tomorrow evening. Sunday is a no go because we are delivering to Austin.

I'm just as frustrated as you all are and I'm embarrassed that we even attempted to conduct an order in this manner.

Yes. Just verified the awb #, it left Honolulu lastnight at 8:59pm. It's in route to Minneapolis right now and will arrive at noon. From there it's headed to San Antonio and should arrive at 8:16pm this evening via Delta cargo.

So, I will post here when I'm headed to the airport to pick it up and I will post when I'm back. I would say 9pm would be a good time.

Options are...pick up tonight (preferred method for the fish) or pick up when you can, next time would be Monday evening. I'm not avail Sunday.

Anyways, just called Delta, still on schedule, leaving minenapolis at 5:30pm and will arrive in SA at 8:16pm. I'm thinking that by 9pm they should be ready for me to pick up. Meaning I will hopefully be home between 9:30 and 10pm.

Black tang will be in my care for a day or two so I plan to take some video tonight :)

Myself, I'm getting a Naso with Streamer, Orange Shoulder Tang, Yellow Tang and Blue Unicorn Tang.... figure I would start collecting my fish for the future display tank for when we move into a new home. A couple of weeks ago I picked up a large Tomini tang as well.

I'm sad to say that 2 of the 4 fish I ordered for myself did not show...the Blue Unicorn and the Orange Shoulder. I got a beat up Yellow Hawaiian Tang and a Naso.

On a positive note...the black tang looks sweet, I just took some video and he's already eating from the rocks. I need to get to bed though, Austin delivery tomorrow...so you'll have to wait to see footage...lol
