can't post in forsale section

I've been a maast member for a while, but have not been active recently. I was trying to post in the for sale section yesterday and got "you do not have permission to access this page" . I can still post in this section obviously. does anyone know if there are new restrictions on posting in the for sale section?

You have to be a charter member...

You have to be a charter member to post in for sale section. In order to be a charter member you donate $25.00 to maast and they charter you up for a year.

that's new. it used to be that the "Charter member for sale" section was for charter members only and the regular "for sale" section was for everyone. what's the difference between the two sections now?

The difference is that the charter member for sale section is only viewed by charter members, and the regular for sale section is viewed by everyone else. You don't have to be a charter member to buy something in the for sale section.

MAAST charter members voted to make selling a charter member privilege only, I believe with the hopes to avoid the site becoming a fish craigs list (as there has been some abuse in the past). You can still reply to sale threads if interested in purchasing items, non charter members just can't start new threads or dig up old ones to sell stuff. HTH explain things.
