Would I be correct to say this coraline is growing? My LR always had purple, but not the white edges where I would guess the growth is occurring.

Yes, that is corraline...nice color. Question: See how his rocks are still fairly light colored? Mine have gotten really dark green/whatever color with corrline patches. Is the super dark green normal? If not, what will strip it back down to a lighter color?

I always thought it meant the coralline was receding...

Oh if you figure out how you can make coralline recede let me know! Otherwise you can go ahead and pick up an Easy Blade now...

I thought coralline was good? Or can it be a nuisance if it grows all over corals?

It is a nuisance because it grows all over your glass!
You use the EasyBlade to scrape it off the glass

If you don't want coralline, have i got a solution for you! All the coralline eating asterina stars you could ever want. And then a fresh batch next week if you need more. :at_wits_end:
Seriously, if see cute little white starfish pull them out. Some will destroy coralline.

I killed three of them in the first week of this tank's cycle. Haven't seen one since.

Receding was probably wishful thinking on my part. Those ez blades are amazing for coralline!
