T5 replacement bulbs

I have a Aquatic Life G12 fixture with 2 actinic T5s, and 2 14K hids. Was thinking about replacing the t5 bulbs, but need advice. I really like the color now, so should i just stick with there bulbs or go with a brand such as ATi...? What color combo would you use?

With only two bulbs I would probably do 2 actinics or one actinic and an aquablue plus if you really like the blue reef look. ATI makes a procolor bulb. It is pink, but brings out some amazing oranges, reds, etc that normally wash out under all the blue. That combined w/ the 14k halides and one actinic should make a warm appearance.

I would go with ATI blue plus, par levels are even better or as good as 10k. I run 4 in my 6 bulb, the color of my coral is great also, maybe even a ATI blue plus, and a purple plus to pop reds. the purple plus will add a diff look, I like it.

Ya that's the thing, when my hids turn off the color is very washed out and boring....

One more question... If I do the ati blue+ and say the purple or pink... Which bulb in front?

Unfortunately I don't stock the ATI's but I can order them in for you no problem. I have really become a fan of purple/magenta to bring out the oranges/reds. It will have a huge impact on your color.

Went with the purple plus and blue plus.... thanks for the advice everyone. I am pleased with the outcome.

thanks... they are much brighter than the AL bulbs. They give the tank a much better look when the HIDS are off, on as well...
