good luck if you have any Shrimp and small fish, the one I had went crazy and was attacking all my fish. very food aggressive, so watch him. mine really hated my mystery wrasse.

Never knew that. I do have some shrimp if they're still in the tank... peps from the coast.

I guess it's pretty obvious though, he's only been in there a day and he's already perched right up next to the glass waiting for food. Of course he's a bit picky, he wouldn't come up too far for it, I had to jet it down towards him.

I'll keep an eye on him.

Nice addition .... Err, edition :-D Is this your first hawkfish? The perching on the front glass (and moving to be centered with my face) was what I loved most about my longnose hawk.....Major attention hogs

Lol, Kristy has reminded me of the difference in elusive and illusive and it wasn't an early morning post :-P

I've only kept the LNH, and the only shrimp it ate were small ghost shrimp. I've considered getting a falco numerous times. I love the spurs on their dorsal fin. Keep us updated on how he does with tankmates.

He's doing good so far. I'd imagine he'd start with the chromis, but nothing yet. He is getting a bit more adventurous during feeding though.

You know I almost jumped on that three hundred gallon out in Houston. Almost, someone else got it.

The problem is my hunting and HD hobby leaves very little scratch for the tank these days.
