I just saw these in person over the weekend. If anyone is on the fence about these, think of all the time, money, effort and most important her LOVE that goes into raising these lil beauties.

If I was in the market for clowns a few questions I would have are these:
How long would they have to be on that special baby diet? At what age are they ready to just eat regular frozen food with the rest of the tank?
Also how big are they (wanting to avoid other fish eating them ;) )?

And who is getting little Tex???

exactly her time alone with these fish is worth more than she's charging. thank you for the added charter member discount .

Depends on what regular food you feed. I have introduced the mysis shrimp recently to get them ready. They will also take small flake food. I would just add in some smaller food into the rest of the tank's diet until you observe them eating the bigger foods. When I got mine, I put them in my refugium for a few weeks until I observed them eating well. Then they went in with the big boys. I already fed cyclopeeze periodically, and I added some frozen brine and crushed the flake food a bit. Once you see them eating the larger stuff, you can stop, but I still like to use the cyclopeeze for color.

Difficult to measure, but body length not including tail is 1"+. If your fish are used to eating live foods, I would hesitate introducing them. Bigger than a guppy, smaller than a mollie. Also introduce with lights out to give them time to settle in.

And who is getting little Tex???

I can't even figure out who little Tex is any more :( I need to look harder, but the patterns change a lot on these guys as they grow.

Thanks for the clown, Lorraine! It only took him (assuming he will be the male) about 10 minutes to get comfortable and find the anemone and make friends with his tank mate, once he was acclimated. So far so good, he's eating flake, along with the brine and smaller food you sent along with him!
