So...wife is in the portable spa that we bought dealing with her contractions and here I am posting on MAAST...lol

Home birth rocks!

Oh...we had a shipment coming in today but it got moved to Monday... only do-able with a home birth!

No don't get off MAAST - details! LOL JK, Cool stuff Rob. Reminds me of when Braeden was born 14 months ago...I had some time on the computer as well...we'll before and after.

You guys have a midwife right?

yes, we have a midwife. Joi Brock with Brith World. She delivered our 2nd and 3rd sons as well. She's not here right now because wife isn't in hard labor yet, contractions are 5-10minutes apart and not lasting longer than 1 minute.

Ruben...wife is right here next to me but this has been pretty peaceful so far, I'm on computer and she's in the hot tub...lol Peaceful music playing and she's kind of sleeping between contractions. We are video documenting a lot of this birth for part home library but also part snippets for a business my wife will be starting for Home Births. She will rent spas and birthing pools and offer birth kits.

Anyways... our other two home births were fast....1.5hrs of labor and then baby. This time around has been a little different. Wife went into labor around 5am, woke me around 6am and we've just been going through the steps. We had breakfast (Mom came over around 7am), we had coffee, we talked coral with the wholesaler and now just lounging...seriously...wife is getting good at this LOL!

Thanks for all the messages...what a wild weekend!

My wife Raquel went into hard labor this morning and it lasted for 12 hours even though she started contractions Friday evening.

Anaiyah was born at 2:40pm today and was 8 pounds and 8 ounces (her brothers were each 8/3)!
