Do any forum members use them for Aiptasia control and are they reef safe...Peppermint shrimp arent cutting it, Aiptasia-X isnt working, I've heard Copper Band Butterfly fish is great, but I have lots of coral and dont want to take a chance...So want input from forum members before I purchase them....:)

There are some members that have had good experiences with them. I have not had a good experience. I think it was due to having peppermint shrimp in there as well. Make sure you get any and all peppermint shrimp out before getting them. It's an expensive mistake.

if you do a search for 'berghia' you'll probably find a few posts with member's experiences

I am one of those that has great success with them in two different tanks. It does take months because for every one you see there are many more in and under your live rock.

Just bought 10 healthy berghias from Salty Underground for $192.00, those local guys never returned e-mails of phone calls.
Anyway delivery and adjustment went without a hitch

Yikes. Expensive!

I got 10 nudis from BerghiaDirect for $100 shipped and they have been growing really well so far.
Here's my Berghia thread with pics:

lol That's because you're patient Alton. The rest of us are willing to pay extra for instant gratification (not that it really works but we like the idea of having it all taken care off in one swoop)

If the direct guys ever followed up on e-mails, calls and customer inquiries I would have done business with somebody in the 210 area code, If any ya all know them…are they independently wealthy, eccentric , republican or just out back not taking care of business?

BerghiaDirect is based in Utah, Joseph. The local guys are Berghia.net I believe.
Since they required overnight shipping anyway I didn't bother whether the supplier is local or not.
Lorraine also recommended the Utah guys and service was great, fast and the nudis were less expensive than elsewhere

Won just doning some maintenance today & I can't find a single aiptasia, even the big ones in the back are gone. Odd, after I dropped those berghias in there, I never saw them again.

If you don't have any more aiptasia, the berghias probably died. They are also great at hiding, which is why you might not have seen them after you put them in the tank. Glad they did their job for you!

my aiptasia are also getting fewer but no sight of the nudis.
