If you can't find one on here check with dropzone cycle off of wurbach pkwy across from blossom athletic center...he usually has used ones for sale on consignment...i think he also helped build some of the trails at mcallister park and has a ton of info....

Ive been thinking about selling my 2005 GT Avalanche 3.0 Hart Tail. Great bike for light to Medium terrain although ive taken it through some some extremely rough terrain with no problems. I purchased it in 2006. It could use a tune up just because it hasnt had one in a while. Still in excellent condition with disc brakes. Bike isnt to heavy either, ive been to government canyon to ride and had to carry it up several sections of bolders. Still have the owners manual

Im asking $225 cash, do not have a salt tank anymore so do not want to trade.

If interested I can post some pics.

To stay on topic. Check Craiglist for SA and Austin. I've seen some amazing deals but you have to be quick.

Check out Action Bikes off of Pat Booker rd. Howard the owner is very knowlegable and will hook you up. I picked up a nice Mongoose mountain bike with adjustable front shocks, disk breaks and rapid fire shifters for $400 brand spanking new. Plus they offer free tune ups for the first year after purchase. The Mongoose I bought is not the cheapo type like Walmart sells. This is a higher end Mongoose mountain bike. I say if you are going to spend $300 on a used bike you might as well pick upa brand new one for $100 more.

This bike it tough man! Mc Allister is considered a beginners park. I have taken my bike out to Flatrock Rancha nd Gov Canyon numberous times and I NEVER had a problem with its performance. Its not a light bike but its great for barreling down hill at high speeds. Check them out.

Bought the Bike In Kansas City, didnt ride much up there. Local parks mainly.

Here in Texas ive Road Government State, OP Schnabel, Garner State Park. I havnt riden the bike in months and before then I was only riding during the fall mostly because of nicer weather. As mentioned I would take it in for a basic tune-up.
