Sounds like a good deal. What are your plans for it? Going to drill it for an internal overflow?

Need to mow the grass by the way.LOL I wish mine looked like that right now.

You drill it very carefully.

I just realized you are in Corpus. I was wondering how you still had lush green grass. Where I live we are already on rationing for watering.

non-reef is generally synonymous with larger fish therefore larger tanks... If you are set on lions, puffers, triggers, ETC. i would stick with your wifes plan.. easier and cheaper in the long run

Completely agree with Texreefer here.

We have a 75g "non-reef" that began as Mike's wish to keep a couple of fish that I didn't want to invite into our peaceful 210g reef setup. The tank was really all about the tiny Picasso trigger, now not quite as tiny more than a year later (growing fast and FAT). The problem with this idea is that the fish typically put into a non-reef tank tend to be a little more aggressive, eat a lot, have a lot of waste, demand a little more territory, and grow to be a pretty big size. So 75g really isn't much for a FOWLR.

It's working for us for now.... but there is this constant conversation about where that tank is going. It clearly will need a new plan in the future.

Tank has been set up for about a month just got behind on the pics. I put a green people eater frag coloney from my main tank in it and they opened right up and are doing great. has one damsel in it that was anoying my clowns so i exiled him up to this tank.

This is the sump and refuge hoping my clowns will call the refuge home and make me some babies. do you guys think 20 tall is good enough for them to breed?

Aquariums can get noisy. My wife thinks that my tank it too noisy in our living room, she blames the skimmer. I can't imagine it in our bedroom. lol Looks good so far. If you need caulerpa for your fuge let me know. I can always give you some.

I would get about 5 or 6 mangroves and in addition of the caulerpa you could add some cheato or dragons breath just to diversify your macro a little. I have dragons breath. I'll trade you that for my hole saw bits lol.

2 yr old thread

It's foam. Look up Mrcob on here and look through his build threads. He made some really nice foam walls
