ok so in the past 3-5 months I've moved from a primary frozen diet to flake and pellet. I've been using Dainichi "marine fx, reef veggie fx" and H2O life "V Pure" flake mysis flake and marine fusion. all my fish
love it, including my new hawk fish and mystery wrasse both eat flake and pellets. all fish look healthy and colors are great.

V-pure:
crude protein 60.2%
crude fat 11.2%
crude fiber 3.5%
moisture 5%
omega fatty acids 3.5%
vitamin c per kg 1000 IU

Dainichi marine/veggie
crude protein 45/39%
crude fat 6/5%
crude fiber 2/4%
moisture 9/9%
ash 10/12%
calcium 2/2%
phosphorus 1/1%

So close to lunch time I expected some kind of restaurant review! When I read the above I felt really sorry for you.

Luckily it's just for the fish. Thanks for posting the values for these foods

I've used both of those brands regularly as well. I like Dainichi pellets.

I was excited to see the H2O flake foods since I love their frozen, but I was disappointed with it. The nuritional analysis is what convinced me to try it, even though I already have an arsenal of dried foods. When I opened the containers, the flake was very small and crumbly. Flake doesn't usually get like that until you're at the bottom of the jar. I use it in an automatic feeder, so it clumps from the humidity and clogs the feeder. :(

Chris, was you're flake crumbly right from the start?

one was a lil crumbly but the mysis seems to be so fluffy I've been using this bottle for a month and seems to fill back up lol(I don't feed heavy also once a day)

Wow! Maybe I got a bad bottle! That looks much nicer than what I got. I'll probably give it another try when this jar runs out.
