Reefkeeping is a family affair for Eve (aka Pennies2Cents) and her husband Ross (aka roscozman). It’s something they enjoy doing together. This combined effort definitely shows in their beautiful mixed reef/large fish tank. Eve has been in the saltwater hobby for about three years.

Read more about their setup in the attached article. This thread is devoted to Eve, so come and sit for a while and ask her and Ross questions about this setup. If this isn't enough for you, we will also be highlighting video of Eve's tank at our 2nd Quarter TOTM Social.

Congrats! Great write up and pics, but until you can see this tank in person its hard to capture the size of this aquarium, and it inhabitants.

Thanks everyone. We both have learned so much and Thanks to MAAST, it has been a very rewarding part of our lives.

We both do a lot of the dirty work. Eve gets her hands in their as much as I do...

I think I had a dream about Ross trying to get behind the tank setup to do some maintenance. So Ross, tell us, is that even possible. And that black sheet...is that the magic curtain?

The burger and rings were pretty good. Thanks for the video compliments everyone. They should keep getting better as the year progresses. By Nov and December, I should be showing up to the winners house with 3 trucks full of equipment, some teamsters to loan/unload the equipment, and about 20 extras to play various parts for the mini-movies.

Since Lorraine gave the ok, here's a few pics I liked. Eve had some good one also. Maybe she'll add to the thread.

I love Cory's trick that he uses to line up all the fish so he can take the full tank shot. I think he is the fish whisperer. What do you all think?

I will add a few more pics later on this evening if yall want.. :)And I will get back to answer yall's questions when I get home from work. :)

p.s. Pete & Troy, your setups made a very big influence in what has become of our tank todate. (thank you)

Wow, everyone of those turned out really, really nice! Which lens did you use on those?

I didn't see your clowns hosting in the frogspawn when we were there.

Thanks Cory. :) I used an underwater camera Olympus Stylus for most of the coral shots but used the Nikon 55-200 lens. Yea, the clowns host whatever they can get into really. lol.. It just depends what day it is.. lol

Thank You, Ahh you guessed right Lorraine. :) Not long after Cory was here I figured I would take a few myself. I couldnt help it. It was kind of neat letting someone else take pics of our tank instead of just me. lol.. You get a whole different view of how things look in your tank. Its pretty cool and exciting.

The orange was trying to get algae from above the water line when I captured that pic. He came down at just the right time and thus the reason for the air bubble coming from his gils. :) I though it was pretty cool shot because of that bubble.. 1 in a million..
