Dude, it was nice meeting you. I was listening in on one of your conversations and you gave me some great ideas on using indirect flash techniques.

Thanks so much for bringing the family out Dustin. And, thank you to everyone else that attended today and supported the winners. I was very proud to be a Maast member today.

Yeah man... Bouncing flash is one of THE best things to do. You will probably never see me shoot a bare strobe, that is on camera, on to someone I am shooting. I always bounce my flash or else the photo will become flat. If you ever have any questions about photography, please feel free to ask.... I don't mind teaching anything that I have learned.. To me it's all about helping each other out. Great presentation by the way Cory.... I was happy to be able to provide people with some photos... I'll try to do it at every event that I go to from now on. That way it will give people an insight on how great MAAST meetings are. Can't wait to see what you come up with for the next quarter Cory... :D

Our first TOTM social was a great meeting. It was clear all the hard work that Cory, Karin, and Lorraine put into this. It was a shame Lorraine had to miss it, but I think you guys did her proud. Both Todd and Stephen's tanks and presentations were excellent.

My only complaint would be Dustin posting those excellent pictures of me- stuffing my face, the back of my bald head, making a face, etc! Not cool... I kind of wish you weren't so good at taking the photos. At least if I had taken them, my thumb would have been blocking most of the shots... :)

It was great seeing everyone and I think we all had a good time. Excellent job TOTM committee! Keep up the good work!

How could anyone resist those burgers? Great spot for the meeting... Just sucks it was so cramped. Have you guys ever been to BIG'Z Burger Joint off of 1604? They have THEE BEST burgers in San Antonio, hands down... Might be a good place one day for a meetup.... But that place is always packed. Good stuff though for sure... :D

I just noticed that too.... Now that some good stuff.... I'm sure it's not that big... Have you seen a Hippo's Butt? I use to do electrical work back in the day and we were in charge of the new hippo exhibit at the SA Zoo. Trust me when I say that they have some big bums... :D

Actually no I didn't get any shots of them, nor the awards.... Guess we should had done that. I am sorry because it seemed like you put a lot of work on the awards. I will have to be sure to do that for next time. You should had said something Karin... LoL

The awesome awards (and where we got them from, right Cory?) shall remain a secret. People will just have to see them next time :D
