help with ro/di water change

just hooked up a 5 stage ro/di system today but need to buy a tds meter. i have let the system run for about an hour and dumped the water that came out. now i'm saving the rest and am curiousz if i can assume the tds out of the system is zero since it is new or should i wait to use the water until i buy a tds meter. i want to do a water change asap. what do you think?

i think u should be ok. i only let mine run for 3 gallons then used the next batch for top off.

thats cool, it made 5 gallons in the first hour. right now i have a little more than 10 gallons.
