Well after many requests from people asking me to take some shots of my tank I finally got around to take some shots of it today. I recently purchased some rocks during the frag swap and a couple of days later added some more. I've only had the tank running for around 5 months now so it's still a major work in progress... I owe everything I know to this site. If it wasn't for the awesome people here on MAAST my tank wouldn't be running right now. Thanks to everyone who has helped me with answering all of my noob questions, you all are AWESOME! Let me know what you guys think of our little piece of the ocean... :D

I think you have done a great job on the rock work and your coral placement is excellent

Looks great and you have some nice looking zoas. I would be careful with those Green Star Polyps, they grow like a weed and can take over all your rock. We have some GSP, but it is isolated on one piece of rock.

Thanks guys for all the support... Please let me know if you guys are spotting anything that is wrong or out of place... Like I said I'm kind of new to the whole coral side of things so please feel free to critique... It only makes us better when learning from on another, which is why I love this site so much... Thanks again everyone... :D

well, since you asked....and since we both have the same ultra sweet : ) torch...I bought the other one from "us", I found that it does really well stuck in the sand. I think you will notice longer tentacle extension if you place it in the sand but in direct light and low-mid indirect flow.

Test this by turning your pumps off for 20 minutes and I bet the torch spreads it's wings...

This is true, Rob... I had it in the sand originally but was sure if that was the correct place for it... I know that the torch can burn my other corals, hence the reason why you don't see my nice colony of purple acans anymore... But I actually had it in the sand sticking out of a PVC pipe before I got all the new rock... I'll be sure to drop it back down in the sand.... I think I know just the spot for it to... Thanks for the heads up! :D
