Haven't used pink - only purple (Fiji Purple by KorallenZucht)

I've used the pink. Only I call it soft red once I took it out of the box.
I'm not much help though as I like a crisp white to bluish color. The pink, much like the purple seemed to make the tank look reddish. Of course it could have been the cyano :)

if your looking for a bulb to pop reds then use a fiji purple or a ati purple plus, i use the ATI purple plus and it has helped out a lot with reds

I've use a "procolor" (pink) T5 before and was very impressed at how well it brought out colors in fish. Coral colors looked good, but the FISH! is where it's at.
