I'd like to get about 10 bluegreen chromis. What store would yall reccomend going to that would actually have that many in stock? or would be easy and fast to order some at? Haven't been to the LFS in a while, and dont know them well anymore.

I have never seen i tank with a school of chromis that lasted more than a few months. From my experience they will slowly pick eachother off. You may be able to make then last longer with a bigger tank say 150 gallon or better

You can pretty much get them anywhere. I know Polly's Pets carries them in large numbers each week. Blue and green ones.

I thought I was the only one with this scenario. I swear I have tried a school over 4 different times...in a 55g, a 75g, a 120g and in my last tank 144g half circle....and every time starting with 6-10 chromis within about 6 months I was always left with 1-3. The smallest ones kept getting picked off.

This could perhaps be due to under feeding. I have never been big on large feedings and only fed once per day. Maybe keeping the school fed several times a day will prove better results with keeping a school longterm.

we currently have a group of 5-6 and feed only once a day. :) but like mentioned earlier might be due to the tank size of 240 where they have lots of space...
