Tank getting started

So I need some tips on getting the tank cycled out and started I plan to start making water maybe this weekend if I can get a few more pieces of rock together. In any case thats the status of the tank right now.

hey i know a lot of people frown on tap water, but i started my g/f tank with tap and some prime. she has had no issue had fish in it after 3-4 weeks of it running. we started with new sand(carib sea arag-alive) and some rock from a system i bought that i kept alive in tubs while she set up the tank. added a couple damsels to fuge and went from there.

humm well I have an rodi unit coming in today so I will prob just make some tubs on ro water and hope I can get them into my house lol.

if you get long enough 1/4 line and faucet conection you can just run it from nearest sink and fill tank directly, let me know if you need some help i also have all kinds of fittings, five four two-5106
