red sea max with hid....?

well i have a red sea max 34 gallon with one hid going to put two more in. using a pc power supply to power up the light at 12v. right now i have one 8k bulb and one 65watt pc 420/460. my question is should i go with a different kelvin? was thinking of having one 8k and two 12k with 65watt Actinic.420/460 hid lights are 35watts each still very bright. will post pic tomorrow.

im thinking 105 watts of light at 7800 Lum Flux is okay. two 20k and one 8k. i want to try something new and see if i can get n e corals to grow using hid lighting

I am getting growth under my 2 14k hids..

Idk if it's quick but my acans, duncans and zoas seem to love the light..

But there not metal haliads there hids from a car. Iv read the best growth is under 5.5k to 10k I think I have more of an option with kelvins to go with. 6.8.10.12 .14.20.30.40 ect

yup they seemed to really like the 14k over the 10K.... And my fixture only has 2 HIDs. Its a 110 tall and the fixture is sitting about a ft. off the water.
