before I start my tank thread I am getting all the equip. I had a few questions, I am looking to get a return pump for my 40g breeder what kind would be the best and where would be the best place to get it from? Also can I use a UV on this tank or is it to small? Does anyone know where I can get a stand and canopy for my tank everywhere I call they don't carry them?.

This depends on what kind of sump you have...is it drilled for an external pump? If it's not then I would suggest a mag drive 5 or 7 ran internal with dual returns (locline), only problem with mag drive pumps is they add heat to the water....so you may want to consider an Ehiem.



Also can I use a UV on this tank or is it to small?

Depends what your plans are and depends what size UV. you have or plan to get.

Go through one of the sponsors and have them contact DSA to build you a custom stand to fit your tank.

I have a three chamber acrylic sump I'm not sure how many gallons I am guessing about tweny gallons or so.. I am looking to run it internal so I guess I will try ehiem.i don't know the stock plans yet just that it's goin to be a reef tank.
