Anemone ID

I've looked around trying to figure out what this anemone is but no such luck. Too many small differences for my eye to catch. Maybe one of ya'll can help me out.
Also how much and how often should i feed em? I've been giving him 1 small/med silverside every other day....

Thats a long tentacle anemone. I would double check that the foot is red and that the underside is speckled. But it definitely looks like a long tentacle anemone to me. I would feed at most once a week and food that is no larger than the size of its mouth. Most people will recommend not feeding him at all.

We don't feed ours.

I have three diff types of anemones in my tank(mini carpet, rbta, rock nem)and i have never feed them. they get whatever is floating around and plenty of light, and they are all very healthy. the rbta used to get fed by my old clown but that was lil pieces of pe mysis every couple days.

I sometimes give them some mysis shrimp and some times shoot them some while feeding.

yea it is speckled on the bottom, my only concern would be is would it be ok if i just stop feeding it? Or should i ween em off of the silversides?

Don't silversides have bones in them?

I tried an experiment awhile back where I fed the anemone heavily for about two weeks and then suddenly stopped.

My reasoning was that it would get used to the extra food and once the food became scarce it would split into an organism that didn't require as much food.

It worked! Or something did anyway. The nem split and I had two. But I tried it again later with no success.

The BLUF is that my nem never suffered from suddenly not receiving food.

ok cool i can handle that.. Thanks for the insight. Maybe ill have two anem's soon lol.
and yes the silversides do have bones in em, when the anem closes up every once in a while it looks like a fish graveyard underneath. you can see all of the bones and "combs".
